Metal-Free Implants Made of Zirconium Oxide

The demands of sensitive patients regarding the compatibility of their treatment are steadily increasing. A growing number of people react sensitively to metals in the mouth - metal-free ceramics such as zirconium oxide have therefore become the material of choice in many areas of dental prosthetics for long-lasting, aesthetically sophisticated restorations.

The use of zirconium oxide in implantology is relatively new. Thanks to its mechanical properties - high flexural strength and dimensional stability - it is excellently suited as an implant material. Zirconium oxide implants are completely metal-free and offer an alternative to titanium implants for patients with a compromised immune system.

The implantation is carried out using the same proven system and surgical technique as with titanium implants.
