Closing Tooth Gaps: Implant-Supported Crown or Bridge
Especially in the visible front tooth area, an aesthetically convincing result is particularly important. Fixed, implant-supported teeth are hardly distinguishable from natural teeth. Implant, denture and surrounding soft tissue form a harmonious unit once the prosthetic work is complete.
From a medical point of view, missing teeth should be replaced, as otherwise bone loss and misalignment of neighbouring teeth can occur. A major advantage of implants: they load the jawbone naturally, thereby preventing bone loss. Healthy neighbouring teeth remain untouched, as they do not need to be ground down.
In close coordination with the referring dentist, immediate loading on the day of implant insertion is also possible in suitable cases.
